Barbell & Weightlifting Class

At the Lumberyard we value all elements of fitness. The Barbell & Olympic Weightlifting class focuses on the two Olympic lifts “Snatch” and “Clean and Jerk.” Improving these two full-body movements aides in developing a better awareness of the body while improving flexibility and strength at the same time. This is a progressive fundamental class emphasizing technique and form for novice to advanced weightlifters.

This is an opportunity for athletes at any level to work on specific movements related to the sport of CrossFit. This includes gymnastic progressions and high volume, low weight barbell complexes. Programming is different and varies from the normal workout of the day.
